Armed forces conduct widespread vehicle inspections and intimidation in Kermanshah

Hengaw – Friday, August 15, 2025
Armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have established checkpoints across streets and intersections in Kermanshah (Kermashan), conducting thorough inspections of passing vehicles while intimidating the public. Reports have also confirmed the presence of fighter jets flying over the city.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in recent days government forces have been deployed throughout Kermanshah, setting up an extensive network of checkpoints aimed at intimidating and controlling residents.
Local sources report that in recent nights, checkpoints have been stationed in locations such as Taq Bostan Boulevard, Dolatabad, and the street leading to Imam Reza Hospital, where vehicles have been searched.
Simultaneously with these intimidation measures and vehicle inspections inside the city, fighter jets of the Islamic Republic of Iran have been observed flying over Kermanshah.
In recent weeks, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic, particularly the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Basij, have carried out a campaign of intimidation, arrests, and shootings against civilians under the pretext of “confronting Mossad.”
