Security forces arrest Omid Parvezi and hold him incommunicado

Omid Parvezi, a 40-year-old Kurdish man from Kamyaran (Kamiran), was arrested on Friday, September 26, 2025, by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the arrest took place at his shop in his hometown without the presentation of an arrest warrant. Parvezi is married and a resident of the city.

No information has been provided regarding the reasons for his arrest, the charges against him, or his current whereabouts.
