Four prisoners executed in separate Iranian prisons

Iranian authorities have carried out the executions of four prisoners in Babolsar, Malayer, Lordegan, and Qazvin prisons. The prisoners were identified as Shahriyar Dehwari Khas, Mohammad Ali Qolizadeh, and Farzad Mohabbat, while the identity of the fourth individual remains unconfirmed. The cases involved charges of premeditated murder and drug-related offenses.
According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Monday, September 8, 2025, Shahriyar Dehwari Khas, also known as Ahmad, a Baloch prisoner from Saravan in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, was executed in Babolsar Central Prison, Mazandaran Province. He had been arrested three years earlier on murder charges and sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary. A day before his execution, he was permitted a final visit with his family at the Babolsar courthouse.
On the same day, a Lor prisoner named Mohammad Ali Qolizadeh, from Malayer, was executed in Malayer Central Prison, Hamadan Province. He had been sentenced to death for premeditated murder.
Also on Monday, another Lor prisoner was executed in Lordegan Prison, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province. His identity has not yet been confirmed. He was arrested three years ago on charges of murdering a man named Hassan Ansari in the Chahartaq pass of the Barez district in Lordegan and later sentenced to death by the judiciary. The Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor of Lordegan stated that this was the first execution carried out in Lordegan Prison, and that all future death sentences under its jurisdiction will also be implemented there.
Separately, at dawn on Saturday, September 6, 2025, another prisoner, identified as Farzad Mohabbat from Qazvin, was executed in Qazvin Central Prison (Choubindar). He had been arrested five years earlier on drug-related charges and later sentenced to death.
None of these executions have been reported by state media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
