Two Arab prisoners secretly executed in Isfahan Central Prison
Hengaw – Tuesday, October 28, 2025
The death sentences of two Arab prisoners, Farhang Taheri and Ammar Pourmansouri, were carried out secretly at Isfahan Central Prison without allowing a final family visit. Both had previously been sentenced to death in a joint case on drug-related charges.
According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Taheri and Pourmansouri, relatives (uncle and nephew) from Ahvaz, were executed at dawn on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Isfahan Central Prison (Dastgerd).
The two prisoners were arrested around two years ago in a shared case on charges of “drug trafficking” and later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Their executions were carried out in complete secrecy, and both were denied the right to a final visit with their families.
The executions have not been reported by state media, including outlets affiliated with Iran’s judiciary.
