Iranian Intelligence arbitrarily arrests Fattah Yousefpour in Bukan

Iranian intelligence agents have arbitrarily arrested Fattah Yousefpour, a 56-year-old Kurdish shopkeeper from Bukan, during a violent raid on his family’s home. His whereabouts remain unknown.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, forces from the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence raided Yousefpour’s home without presenting any warrant.

A source close to the family reported that the agents searched the house, intimidated the residents, and confiscated Yousefpour’s mobile phone before taking him into custody.

No information has been made available regarding the reasons for his arrest, the charges against him, or his current whereabouts.
