Intelligence forces arrest Ako Azizi and Eyub Rashi in Sardasht

Two Kurdish men from Sardasht, identified as Ako Azizi and Eyub Rashi, have been arrested by agents of the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, Ako Azizi, a resident of Rabat town in Sardasht County, was violently arrested by intelligence agents, who also confiscated several of his personal belongings.

In a separate incident, on the evening of Tuesday, October 28, 2025, intelligence forces conducted a raid involving eight vehicles and arrested Eyub Rashi, 31, from the village of Parastan in Sardasht County, on one of the city’s streets.

Hengaw has learned that both individuals were transferred to the Ministry of Intelligence detention facility in Urmia following their arrests.

No detailed information has been made available regarding the reasons for their arrests, the charges against them, or their current condition.
