Kolbar injured and leg amputated after landmine explosion in Baneh

A kolbar identified as Naser Rahimi from Baneh was seriously injured after a landmine explosion in the Hengazhal border area, resulting in the amputation of his leg.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, Rahimi, a resident of Manjilan village in the Namshir district of Baneh, stepped on a landmine while working in the border area.

Sources told Hengaw that Rahimi suffered a traumatic amputation to his ankle and was transferred to a medical facility for treatment.
