Seven prisoners, including five Lors executed in prison across Iran

The death sentences of seven prisoners, including five Lors and one Baloch, were carried out in recent days in the prisons of Gachsaran, Yasuj, Sirjan, Khorramabad, and Minab. Those executed were identified as Yahya Najafi, Ebrahim Delaram, Allahkaram Ghasemi, Fateh Haqdarian, Ehsan Pourmasoumi, Yarhossein Nazarian, and Morteza Darvishi (Taherzahi). They had been convicted on charges of premeditated murder and drug-related offenses.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, Yahya Najafi, a Lor prisoner from Gachsaran convicted of murder, was executed in Gachsaran Prison, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province.

On the same day, three other Lor prisoners — Ebrahim Delaram, aged 43 and father of two; Allahkaram Ghasemi, from Dogonbadan; and Fateh Haqdarian, aged 32 and from Shahr-e Kord — were executed in Yasuj Central Prison. Delaram and Ghasemi had been imprisoned for five years and Haqdarian for three, all on drug-related charges.

Also on Tuesday, Ehsan Pourmasoumi, aged 45 and from Sirjan, Kerman Province, was executed in Sirjan Central Prison. According to sources, he had been arrested three years earlier for murder following a dispute at a wedding ceremony.

In addition, Yarhossein Nazarian, also a Lor, was executed in Khorramabad Prison on similar drug-related charges.

Meanwhile, at dawn on Monday, October 13, 2025, Morteza Darvishi (Taherzahi), a 45-year-old Baloch prisoner from Sirik County, Hormozgan Province, was executed in Minab Central Prison. He had been arrested six years earlier on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

None of these executions have been announced by Iranian state media, particularly outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
