Six prisoners, including one Afghan national, executed in Shiraz, Isfahan, Birjand, Jiroft, and Borujerd prisons

The death sentences of six prisoners, including one Afghan national, were carried out in the prisons of Shiraz, Isfahan, Birjand, Jiroft, and Borujerd. The executed individuals were identified as Milad Jahani, Hazrat Esahqzai, Qasem Rahmatzehi, Meysam Gholami, Arian Moradi, and Seyfollah Shojaei — all previously convicted on drug-related or murder charges.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, Milad Jahani was executed in Adelabad Prison, Shiraz, after being sentenced to death on drug-related charges.
On the same day, Hazrat Esahqzai, a 26-year-old Afghan national from Jowin District, Farah Province, and a father of one residing in Qeshm, was executed in Isfahan Central Prison. He had been arrested three years earlier on drug-related charges.
Separately, at dawn on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, Qasem Rahmatzehi, a 49-year-old Baloch prisoner from Zahedan and father of seven, along with Meysam Gholami, approximately 30, from Quchan in Razavi Khorasan Province, were executed in Birjand Central Prison in South Khorasan Province. Both were executed in secret and denied a final visit with their families. According to the Haalvsh News Agency, Rahmatzehi and Gholami had been imprisoned for two and three years respectively on drug-related charges.
On Monday, October 13, 2025, Arian Moradi, from Jiroft, was executed in the city’s central prison after being convicted of murder.
In a separate case, at dawn on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, Seyfollah Shojaei, a 48-year-old Lor man from Borujerd, Lorestan Province, and father of two, was executed in Borujerd Prison. He had been arrested three years earlier for “drug trafficking.”
None of these executions have been reported by Iranian state media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
