Security forces detain Noshin Rezaei in Kamyaran

Noshin Rezaei, a Kurdish woman from Kamyaran, has been arrested by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and is currently being held and interrogated at the Intelligence Detention Centre in Sanandaj (Sine). She has been denied contact with her family and access to legal representation.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Rezaei was arrested at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025. Following her arrest, she was transferred to Sanandaj and placed in the women's quarantine section of Sanandaj Prison.

Hengaw has learned that Rezaei is being transported daily to the Intelligence Department in Sanandaj for interrogation. Sources indicated that she remains deprived of basic legal rights, including the right to speak with her family and access to a lawyer.

No information has been provided regarding the reasons for Rezaei’s arrest or the charges she may be facing.
