Baha’i man Aminollah Koushkbaghi detained in Gonbad-e Kavus; Whereabouts unknown

Aminollah Koushkbaghi, a 69-year-old Baha’i resident of Gonbad-e Kavus, has been detained by Iranian security forces and transferred to an unknown location.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, security forces arrested Koushkbaghi on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, in Gonbad-e Kavus.

Sources informed Hengaw that despite five days having passed since his arrest, his family’s efforts to obtain information about his fate have been unsuccessful.

No information has been made available regarding the reasons for his arrest or the charges brought against him.
