Six executions carried out in prisons across Iran

Six prisoners, Amin Chaharbashi, Gholamali Eftekhari, Hamid Amini, Ashkan Sohrabi, Arsalan Behbahani and Ghasem Sarlak, were executed in the prisons of Gorgan, Nishapur, Kashan, Sabzevar and Aligudarz after being convicted on charges of “murder” or “drug-related offenses.”

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Chaharbashi was executed in Gorgan Central Prison on November 25, 2025. He had been arrested on “murder” charges and later sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

Eftekhari was executed in Nishapur Prison in Razavi Khorasan Province on the same day, following a conviction on “drug-related offenses.”

Amini, 25, from Kashan, and Sohrabi were executed in Kashan Central Prison at dawn on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Amini had been arrested five years earlier on “murder” charges, and Sohrabi had been detained on similar “murder” charges before receiving a death sentence.

Authorities in Sabzevar Prison in Razavi Khorasan Province carried out the execution of Behbahani later the same day, following a conviction on “drug-related offenses.”

Sarlak, a Lor prisoner previously sentenced to death on “murder” charges, was executed in Aligudarz Prison in Lorestan Province at dawn on Saturday, November 22, 2025.

State media, including outlets affiliated with Iran’s judiciary, have not yet reported these executions.
