Kurdish prisoner Vahid Arman executed in Yazd Central Prison

Iranian authorities have executed Vahid Arman, a 34-year-old Kurdish prisoner from Kermanshah (Kermashan), in Yazd Central Prison. He had been sentenced to death on charges related to drug offences.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution was carried out at dawn on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Arman was arrested about a year ago and later convicted on drug-related charges. He was transferred to solitary confinement on Tuesday, November 4, in preparation for the execution.

Iranian state media and outlets affiliated with the judiciary have not reported the execution.
