IRGC Intelligence Organization arrests Baha’i woman Leila Edalati

Agents of the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) arrested Leila Edalati (Bangaleh), a Baha’i resident of Shiraz, and transferred her to an undisclosed location.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, IRGC intelligence forces detained Edalati at her home in Shiraz on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

Sources close to the case reported that security agents searched her home during the arrest and confiscated several personal belongings.

The reasons for her arrest, the charges against her, and her current whereabouts remain unknown.
