The death sentences of Siamak Ghanbari, Mojtaba Asadi, Mostafa Khan-Mirza Jamali, and Hossein Farhadi have been carried out in the prisons of Shiraz and Yazd. The prisoners had previously been convicted on charges of premeditated murder or drug-related offenses.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Siamak Ghanbari and Mojtaba Asadi were executed in secret, without a final family visit, at dawn on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, in Shiraz Central Prison.

Ghanbari, aged 51, was the father of three, and Asadi, aged 48, was the father of two. Both men were from Bojnourd in North Khorasan Province.

Sources familiar with the case said the two had been arrested two years ago on drug-related charges in a joint case, and later sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

Separately, at dawn on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the death sentences of Mostafa Khan-Mirza Jamali, aged 51 and from Quchan in Razavi Khorasan Province, and Hossein Farhadi were carried out in Yazd Central Prison.

Khan-Mirza Jamali had been arrested around four years earlier on drug-trafficking charges, while Farhadi had been detained six years ago on premeditated murder charges. Both men were subsequently sentenced to death.

None of these executions have been announced by Iranian state media or judiciary-affiliated outlets.
