Iran executes seven prisoners in seven detention facilities

Iranian authorities have executed seven prisoners in detention facilities located in Khorramabad, Aligudarz, Dezful, Nahavand, Karaj, Hamedan, and Yasuj. All seven individuals had previously been sentenced to death on charges of “premeditated murder.”
Information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights indicates that the executions were carried out during the early hours of Saturday, December 27, 2025. Four of the prisoners were Lor inmates identified as Khalil Nouri from Khorramabad, Ahmadali Safari from Aligudarz, Sirus Karami from Dezful in Khuzestan province, and Rahim Khodaparast from Nahavand in Hamedan province. Their death sentences were implemented in the prisons of Khorramabad, Aligudarz, Dezful, and Nahavand.
On the same day, three additional prisoners identified as Milad Nejati, Abolfazl Enhesari from Hamedan, and Ahmadreza Esfahani were executed on similar charges in Karaj Prison, Hamedan Prison, and Yasuj Prison, respectively.
Iranian state-run media, particularly outlets affiliated with the judiciary, have not announced or acknowledged the executions.
