Iranian state forces arrest Hamed Nabati and Mostafa Masri in Saqqez

Two Kurdish men from Saqqez, identified as Hamed Nabati and Mostafa Masri, have been arrested by forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Nabati and Masri were detained at their workplaces on Monday, December 29, 2025.
Government forces carried out the arrests without presenting court warrants. Masri is a member of the Saqqez Mountaineering Group.
No information is available regarding the reasons for their arrests, the charges brought against them, or their current whereabouts and condition.
