Security forces arrest Turkish activist Hossein Amani Nadarli

Security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have arrested Hossein Amani Nadarli, a Turkish civil activist, in the city of Shabestar.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Amani Nadarli was detained at his workplace in Shabestar on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Sources familiar with the case stated that, despite repeated inquiries by his family and relatives, no information has been provided regarding Amani Nadarli’s fate or place of detention.

He had previously been summoned to the Shabestar Intelligence Office on October 4, 2025, through a phone call from a private number followed by an official text message.

No details have been disclosed regarding the reasons for his arrest, the charges against him, or his current location.
