At least nine Kurds from Ilam arbitrarily detained by Iranian government forces

At least nine Kurds from Ilam Province have been arbitrarily arrested by Iranian government forces in a sweeping crackdown following the outbreak of nationwide protests.
The arrests took place in Tehran, Karaj, Ivan, Chardavol, Badreh, Darreh Shahr, and Abdanan, and the detainees’ whereabouts and legal status remain unknown.
According to reports verified by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Ali Daneshpezhuh, a resident of Talkhab village in Badreh County, was arrested on Wednesday, January 22.
Abbas Jamshidi, from Anjireh village in Abdanan County, was arrested in Tehran on Sunday, January 12. More than two weeks later, authorities have refused to provide any information about his whereabouts or condition.
Amir Amrai, 23; Kamyar Amrai, 22; and Mohammad Shamsi, 29, all residents of Darreh Shahr, were arrested by government forces in Karaj on Friday, January 10. No official information has been released regarding their detention sites or legal status.
Reza Minai, from Ab Anar village in Abdanan County, was also arrested in Tehran on Friday, January 10, and his fate remains unknown.
That same day, Arash Ja'fari, a 29-year-old resident of Chardavol County, was arrested despite having a gunshot wound to his leg. His health condition and place of detention remain undisclosed, raising serious concerns for his safety.
Ali amrai, a 29-year-old resident of Darreh Shahr, was arrested in Tehran on Thursday, January 9. His whereabouts remain unknown.
Also on that day, Ali Ahmad Shaf'i, from Zarneh in Ivan County, was detained by government forces. Seventeen days later, no information has been released regarding his fate or location.
