Government forces kill Sajjad Fayzi, Mohammad Jafari, and Erfan Jameh-Shourani in Kermanshah

Sajjad Fayzi, Mohammad Jafari, and Erfan Jameh-Shourani, three Kurdish men from Kermanshah (Kermashan), were shot dead by Iranian government forces during the recent protests.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the three men were killed on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026, after being directly targeted by government forces in Kermanshah.

Hengaw is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the killing of these three Kurdish men by Iranian government forces.

Based on data recorded by Hengaw’s Statistics and Documentation Center, at least 15 people have been killed by Iranian government forces during the December protests in Kermanshah to date.
