Four arrested in Tehran, Kerman, and Shiraz

Four people have been arrested by Iranian government forces in Tehran, Kerman, and Shiraz during the months of January and February 2026, according to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights. Information regarding the charges and legal status of several of the detainees remains unclear.
The details are as follow:
Tehran
Amirali Moradi, 43, a painter and tattoo artist residing in Tehran, was arrested at his café on January 10, 2026. Nineteen days later, he was transferred to Great Tehran Penitentiary. Moradi, who had returned to Iran after several years abroad, is facing security-related charges. Authorities have opposed his temporary release.
In a separate case, Meysam Hassanpour, also a resident of Tehran, was arrested on January 14, 2026. Since his arrest, no detailed information has been made available regarding his whereabouts or condition. His detention order has been extended.
Kerman
Erfan Khatibi, a reformist political activist and schoolteacher, was arrested on the evening of February 10, 2026, by agents of the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Kerman. He currently serves as a member of the provincial branch council of the Association of Devotees Party. No official information has been released regarding the charges against him or his place of detention.
Shiraz
Matin Molaei, an 18-year-old student, was arrested on the evening of January 9, 2026, on Sattarkhan Street in Shiraz. He was later transferred to Adelabad Prison in Shiraz, where he remains in custody.
