Three young brothers arrested and held in limbo in Shahin Shahr
Hengaw – Thursday, February 5, 2026
Three brothers from Shahin Shahr in Isfahan Province — identified as Saman Kianivafa, Arman Kianivafa, and Rahman Kianivafa — have been arrested by Iranian government authorities and are being held in a state of legal uncertainty in prison.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the three were arrested by government forces on January 25, 2026, and were later transferred to Dastgerd Central Prison in Isfahan, where they have now been held for 11 days without clarification of their legal status.
An informed source close to the family said their mother has gone to the prison daily in recent days seeking information, but authorities have so far refused to grant her visitation rights.
Arman Kianivafa is a member of medical staff, while his brother Rahman Kianivafa previously served in the military but later left and currently works in drywall and ceiling installation (knauf work).
