Airstrike on governor’s office in Bukan kills three civilians, including 15-year-old

Three Kurdish civilians from the city of Bukan, including a 15-year-old child and a medical student, were killed after Israeli and U.S. fighter jets struck the governor’s office building during airstrikes targeting military and security sites in the city.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the attack occurred on the evening of Wednesday, March 4, 2026, when the governor’s office building in Bukan was hit during the airstrikes.
The victims have been identified as Shayan Mam Salimi, 15, Ardalan Pakdel, 21, a medical student, and Peyman Erfani, 30, all residents of Bukan.
An informed source told Hengaw that at least 57 people were also injured in the attacks.
Due to the extent of the destruction caused by multiple missile strikes on the governor’s office and surrounding areas in the city center, Hengaw has expressed concern that the death toll may rise as more information becomes available.
