Iranian authorities arrest Baha’i adherent Yasmin Rahmordeh in Yazd

Iranian authorities have arrested Yasmin Rahmordeh, a 36-year-old Baha’i adherent from Yazd and a mother of two, and transferred her to an undisclosed location.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Rahmordeh was arrested on Saturday, March 21, 2026, in the city of Yazd. She was initially transferred to the quarantine section of the women’s ward at Yazd Prison.
Two days later, on Monday, March 23, she was transferred from Yazd Prison to an undisclosed location, and no information has since been made available about her place of detention.
Authorities have not disclosed the reasons for her arrest or any charges against Yasmin Rahmordeh.
