Sharif University graduate student Arman Hajmohammadi arrested in Yazd

Iranian government forces in Yazd have arrested Arman Hajmohammadi, a master’s student at Sharif University of Technology. Several days after his detention, no information has been made available regarding his fate or place of detention.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, security forces recently raided Hajmohammadi’s private residence in Yazd and arrested him.
Hajmohammadi is a graduate student in civil engineering at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran. He was detained while visiting or staying at his family home in Yazd.
An informed source stated that the arrest was carried out without the presentation of warrant and involved the use of force. Despite repeated inquiries by Hajmohammadi’s family to security and judicial authorities in Yazd, no information has been provided regarding the reasons for his arrest, the charges against him, or his exact place of detention.
