Iranian authorities arrested Mehrak Karimpour Andalibi, a resident of Tehran, and transferred her to Qarchak Prison in Varamin.

Based on information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, plainclothes agents raided Karimpour Andalibi’s home in Tehran on Friday, March 27, 2026, and arrested her.

Informed sources reported that during the arrest, officers did not present a warrant or provide any explanation regarding the reasons for her arrest or the charges against her to her family.

Hengaw has learned that Karimpour Andalibi was transferred to Qarchak Prison following her arrest.

Despite follow-ups by her family, no precise information is available regarding the reason for her arrest, the arresting authority, or the charges against her.
