Iran arrests three in Varamin, including a minor, over alleged contact with foreign media

Iranian authorities have arrested three residents of Varamin, including a 17-year-old, and transferred them to Khorin Prison in the city. The arrests were carried out on accusations of communication with foreign media.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in recent days three residents of Varamin, Ashkan Kamali, 17, Rasoul Nikzad, 19, and Omid Tajik-Khah, 19, were arrested by Iranian security forces.
Informed sources said that the individuals were arrested for allegedly sending videos and images related to the recent war to foreign media outlets.
