Baha’i adherent Minou Andakhas arrested in Sari

Minou Andakhas, a Baha’i adherent and resident of Sari, was arrested by Iranian authorities as part of the recent wave of arrests targeting members of the Baha’i community and was transferred to an undisclosed location.
Based on information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Iranian authorities raided her home in Sari on the evening of Tuesday, March 31, 2026, and arrested her.
Informed sources stated that the arrest was carried out without the presentation of a warrant. During the arrest, agents searched the house and confiscated her mobile phone.
No precise information is available regarding the reasons for her arrest, the charges against her, or her place of detention, and her family’s efforts to obtain information about her situation have so far been unsuccessful.
Iranian authorities had previously raided her home in her absence, searched the residence, and confiscated her religious books and personal belongings during a raid carried out on December 28, 2025.
