Kurdish man Kamran Rasoulnejad arrested in Sardasht

Iranian authorities have arrested Kamran Rasoulnejad, a Kurdish resident of Sardasht. His whereabouts remain unknown.

According to information obtained by to the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, government forces raided the family home of Rasoulnejad, 19, on the night of Tuesday, April 28, 2026, and arrested him without presenting a warrant.

Rasoulnejad is a resident of the village of Nestan, located near Sardasht.

No information has been released regarding the reasons for his arrest, any charges against him or his place of detention.

Efforts by his family to obtain answers from security authorities have so far been unsuccessful, and officials have refused to provide any information about his condition.
