Hengaw – Tuesday, April 21, 2026
Nearly two months after the arrest of Erfan Nabian, a resident of Isfahan, no information is available regarding his fate or whereabouts, and security bodies have refused to respond to inquiries from his family.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Erfan Nabian, 26, was arrested on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, by government forces in Isfahan.
Hengaw has learned that despite persistent and daily follow-ups by Nabian’s family with security institutions and the Isfahan Prosecutor’s Office, no information has been provided regarding the charges against him, his health condition, or his exact place of detention.
The refusal of the relevant authorities to respond, along with his denial of the right to contact or receive visits from his family, has intensified concerns about his fate.
He has been denied access to legal counsel and basic rights as a detainee.
Erfan Nabian was born and raised in Isfahan.
