Matin Zamanian, a political science undergraduate at the University of Tehran, has remained in legal limbo at Greater Tehran Penitentiary, commonly known as Fashafouyeh Prison, for more than a month following his arrest. During his detention, he has been denied access to an independent lawyer and deprived of fair trial rights.
