Rasul Kazemi imprisoned to serve 26-month sentence

Rasul Kazemi, a Lor resident of Khorramabad, has been imprisoned and transferred to Khorramabad Central Prison to serve a 26-month sentence.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Kazemi, a veteran of the eight-year Iran-Iraq War, was arrested on June 18, 2026, after appearing before the Enforcement of Judgments Branch of the Revolutionary Court in Khorramabad to begin serving his sentence. He was subsequently transferred to Khorramabad Central Prison.
The Iranian judiciary had previously sentenced him to 26 months of discretionary imprisonment on charges of “propaganda against the state” and “insulting Khamenei.”
Kazemi had previously been arrested in connection with the same case and was later released on bail pending the enforcement of his sentence.
