Four prisoners, including three Lor men, executed in Isfahan

Iranian authorities have executed four prisoners, including three Lor men, at Isfahan Central Prison (Dastgerd Prison). All had previously been sentenced to death on “drug-related charges.”
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the executions of three prisoners were carried out in the early hours of Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Isfahan Central Prison. The prisoners were identified as Mohammad Qasem Abdehvand, 33, and Rahim Qanbari, 38, both Lor men from Masjed Soleyman in Khuzestan Province, and Farrokh Amjadi, 46, from Khomeinishahr in Isfahan Province. All three had been sentenced to death on “drug-related charges.”
Sources told Hengaw that Abdehvand and Qanbari had been sentenced to death in a joint case. Amjadi, a father of two, had been arrested approximately four years earlier on “drug-related charges” and was later sentenced to death.
Separately, according to Iran Human Rights, Reza Pedram Asivand, 31, a Lor man from Junqan in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, was executed at Isfahan Central Prison on May 5, 2026, after being convicted on “drug-related charges.” He had been arrested approximately three years earlier and subsequently sentenced to death.
Iranian state media and official sources affiliated with the Iranian Judiciary have not reported the executions of these four prisoners.
