Woman shot dead by former suitor in Masjed Soleyman

Parvin Allahdini was shot dead by a former suitor in the city of Masjed Soleyman after she had repeatedly rejected his advances and previously filed a complaint against him.
According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Parvin Allahdini, a 31-year-old mother of a 12-year-old daughter, was killed at about 3 a.m. on July 7, 2026, in the Hasht Bangaleh neighborhood of Masjed Soleyman. She was shot five times in the head, face and neck in front of her daughter.
The suspect, identified only as Jahangir, killed Allahdini after she rejected his repeated requests for a romantic relationship and marriage. Allahdini had previously filed a complaint accusing him of harassment, stalking and making threats, which had resulted in his imprisonment.
After his release from prison, the suspect forced his way into Allahdini’s home by breaking down the front door, fatally shot her and later surrendered to police.
Allahdini had been living with her 12-year-old daughter following her divorce and worked at an insurance office. The suspect had previously been one of her customers and had repeatedly approached her seeking a relationship and marriage, but she rejected his advances.
