A citizen from Sanandaj sentenced to 30 months in prison

Hengaw - A citizen from Sanandaj sentenced to 30 months in prison by the Iranian judicial system in charge of cooperation with a Kurdish opposition party of Iran.

According to the report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in the recent days, Shahriyar Oskooei, a 42 years old man and activist from Sanandaj has been sentenced to 30 months in prison by the appeal court of Kuristan province.

Shahriyar Oskooei has earlier been sentenced to 5 years in prison from Sanandaj revolutionary court - presided over by "Saeidi" judge - in charge of cooperation with the "Kuristan komala party of Iran". The case had been sent to the appeal court after he had objected to the verdict.

According to the verdict issued by the appeal court, Oskooei has to introduce yourself to the Sanandaj central prison in the coming days to pass his sentence period.
