Chia Mohmmadi sentenced to 6 years in prison

Hengaw: A Kurdish citizen from Sanandaj who had been arrested last year sentenced to 6 years in prison by appeal court of Sanandaj province.

According to received report by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, in latest days, Chia Mohmmadi from Sanadaj has been sentenced to imprisonment by fourth branch of apeal court of Sanandaj province. This sentence is because of actions against national security through cooperation with Kurdish opposition parties of Islamic Republic of Iran and spreading the false news.

Chia Mohmmadi had earlier sentenced to 5 years imprisonment by revolutionary court but appeal court increased his accusation.

Chia Mohmmadi has been arrested by intelligence forces of Sanandaj and detained for 6 months in solitary confinement of intelligence forces. Then released temporarily by offering a warranty of 800 million tomans.
