Issuance of 3 years imprisonment for a Kurdish language teacher in Kamyaran

Hengaw: One of civil activist and Kurdish language teacher from Kamyaran who is also a member of Noojin cultural-social association, sentenced to imprisonment by Iranian judicial system.

According to the report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on recent days, Sirwan Ebrahimi, a civil activist and Kurdish language teacher in Kamyaran who is also a member of Noojin cultural-social Association, has sentenced to three years in prison by Iranian judicial system. This sentence has been issued due to cooperation with a Kurdish political party and action against national security.

Sirwan Ebrahimi had already been detained on Wednesday night 16th January by Intelligence agency in Kamyaran.

He was finally released on Thursday 12th September 2019 by offering 500 milion Tomans as guarantee after two and half months imprisonment in Sanandaj intelligence agency detention.
