Mako: A Kurd was hanged

Hangaw: A Kurd was executed in Mako.

According to reports received by Hangaw, Tahir Saedi, 36 from Mako was hanged on last Wednesday, February 1st in the Mako central prison.

Mr. Saedi was detained by the Iranian intelligence agency 6 years ago on drug related offences.

Mr. Saedi was later sentenced to death by hanging by the revolutionary court in the city.

Based on Hangaw’s record, ever since the New Year at least 10 Kurds have been executed in Iran.
