Four Balochs arrested by intelligence forces in Zahedan and Taftan

Four Baloch men — identified as Ahmad Gallehbacheh, Abdolvahid Pirdadi Rigi, Younes Delavari, and Rahmatollah Aramoon — have been arrested by agents of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence in the cities of Zahedan and Taftan and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, August 14, 2025, Ahmad Gallehbacheh, 32, from the Majdi district of Shirabad, Zahedan, was arrested at his shop during a raid by plainclothes intelligence agents and taken to an unknown location.
On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, three other Balochs — Abdolvahid Pirdadi Rigi, 29, Younes Delavari, 22, and Rahmatollah Aramoon, 29, all from the village of Bidaster in Taftan County, Sistan and Baluchestan province — were arrested at their workplace in the Taftan gold mine. The arrests followed a violent raid by plainclothes intelligence agents, who used physical force against them.
According to Halvash, the agents detained the men without presenting warrants. Their fate remains unknown, and efforts by their families to obtain information have so far been unsuccessful.
No details have been made available regarding the charges against them.
