Pawa/At least 12 Kurdish civilians were detained

Hengaw: The Iranian security forces have in the last couple of days detained 12 Kurdish civilians from Pawa in the Krmashan province.

According to the reports received by Hengaw, a human rights website reporting on the human rights violations in Iran, the Iran intelligence corps have raided a Kurdish house and detained at least 12 citizens.

 Hengaw’s reporter reveals the identity of those arrested last Sunday and Tuesday as follows:

  1. Jonaid Hedaiti
  1. Farid Ahmadi
  1. Soran Ahmadi
  1. Delsoz Mohammadi
  1. Arsalan Ahmadi
These citizens have been detained and accused membership with a Kurdish opposition party to the Iran regime, and are currently held in the Nawit prison in the Krmashan province.

Reports further indicate that a number of others have been detained, and some have been released. The whereabouts of those detained are still unknown.

According to a source in the area, the intelligence forces broke into Jonaid home and confiscated his personal belongings including his phone and laptop.
