Iranian Judiciary sentenced a Kurdish political prisoner to execution

Hengaw: A Kurdish Political prisoner from Rojava (Syrian Kurdistan) was sentenced to death by the Iranian Judiciary.
According to Hengaw relying on the Human Rights Network of Kurdistan, The officials of Urmia Prison declared the death sentence to a Kurdish political prisoner Kamal Hassan Ramazan on Saturday May 20.
The sentence has been issued by the third branch of the Urmia Revolutionary Court headed by Judge Mehdipour.
Kamal Hassan Ramazan, 31, from the Rojava was arrested along with his two companions – from Mako, a city of Urmia Procinve – in accusation of “membership in a Kurdish opposition party” by the Iranian security forces in July 2014
He was sentenced to 10 years and a day imprisonment by the Urmia Revolutionary Cour headed by Judge Chabok on July 14, 2015.
After demands of the Kamal’s lawyer, the sentence had been reduced for 7 year imprisonment. But he had been confronted with a new case opened by the Iranian security organizations and sentenced to death
