102 months imprisonment for Afshin Hussein Panahi

Hengaw : Afshin Hussein Panahi, a civil activist from Dehgolan, was sentenced to eight and a half years imprisonment by the revolutionary court of Sena (Sanandaj).
According to a report from the Human Rights Watch, "Hengaw " and quoted from the "Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners", this civilian activist who has a background in cooperation with environmental institutions has received a statement yesterday (October 25th) The first branch of the Revolutionary Court, headed by Judge Saeedi, was sentenced to eight and a half years in jail on charges of holding the Nowruz ceremony and working with one of the Kurdish parties.
Afshin Hussein Panahi was arrested on June 26 this year after his brother was arrested Ramin Hossein Panahi, was arrested in his own house.
 
This civil activist who has a history of cooperation with environmental institutions has been sentenced to one year in prison during a suicide bombing of his brother Ashraf Hussein Panahi in 2011, charged with "propaganda against the regime."
It should be noted that Ramin Hussein Panahi, one of Kurdistan's political activists, was arrested by Iranian Revolutionary Guards on June 2 and moved to an unknown location. Despite the repeated pursuit of his family and the reference to security agencies, there is no news about the fate of this political activist.
