Hengaw – Two Kurdish civil activists were arrested separately in the city of Sanandaj, known as Sna, Hengaw reporter inside the city said on Saturday.
Sohrab Bahrami was arrested by Iranian security forces on October 31. Another environmental activist, Madeh Fathi, was also detained by intelligence forces last week.
Fathi, 27, is a member of Green Kurdistan Association.
It is still unknown what they have been accused of or where they have been transferred to, Hengaw reporter has explained.
Bahrami was reportedly beaten by the security forces as they arrested him.
Reportedly this is the second time that security forces arrested Bahrami in the past few years.
“He was arrested and accused of being a member of one of the Kurdish political opposition parties, about three years ago,” the reporter added.
