Hengaw: after dying of 28 other citizens, the death toll of coronavirus in Kurdistan has increased to 280

 

According to recorded statistics at Hengaw Statistics Center, during the last 24 hours, at least  28 other citizens lost their lives in the cities of Divandarreh (3), Saqqez (6), Kamyaran (1), Qorveh (1), Darehshahr (2), Ivan Gharb (2), Badreh (1), Ilam (1), Kermanshah (2), Sonqur (2), Sarpul Zahab (1), Mahabad (1), Oshnaviyeh (1), Khoi (1), Tekab (1) and Urmia (2) were reported dead due to corona virus infecting. Among these victims 8 of them in the cities of Saqqez (2), Divandarreh, Qorveh, Ilam, Sonqur (2) and Tekab were women.

 

Due to a lack of a reliable and formal network broadcasting system, HANGAW Human Rights Organization, provides the latest statistics and information from reliable sources, announcing the death toll from the outbreak of the Corona virus in Kurdistan as follows. It is worth noticing that Hangaw regularly updates the latest relevant statistics to the public.

 

According to Hengaw statistics over the last days, at least 280 civilian deaths due to the coronavirus have been registered in Kurdistan, including 90 women and 190 men.

 

Breakdown based on provinces: Ilam Province: 44 (15 females and 29 males) Kermanshah Province: 64 (22 females and 42 males) Kurdistan Province (Sanandaj): 102 (31 females and 71 males)  Azerbaijan Gharbi Province (Urmia): 70 (23 females and 47 males)

 

These statistics were recorded by Hengaw, while the government's media only officially announced 137 victims. According to government statistics, there are 43 persons in Kurdistan province, 49 perspns in Azarbaijan Gharbi province, 24 persons in Kermanshah province and 21 in Ilam province.
