5 Kurdish religious prisoners transferred to Urmia Prison

Hengaw : 5  Kurdish religious activists who arrested in Piranshahr, Bukan and Oahnaviyeh  in February 2021 have been  transferred to Urmia Central Prison.

According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, five Kurdish religious activists, identified as : Musa Brusan, Taha Karimi and Saber Mohtadi from Bukan, Abdul Latif Mahmoudi Deli from Oshnaviyeh (Sheno) and Naseh Sorkhabi, from Piranshahr have been transferred from  The Iranian Intelligence Service detention center  IN Urmia to the central prison of this city after completing the interrogation process.

Musa Brusan, Taha Karimi, Saber Mohtadi were arrested on Monday, February 15,2021 and Abdul Latif Mahmoudi Deli and Naseh Sorkhabi were arrested by the Iranian Intelligence Service on Saturday, February 27, and transferred to the Urmia Intelligence Detention Center.

  These five citizens, who were denied access to a lawyer at the time of their arrest, have been accused of collaborating with and joining Salafist groups.
