Kurdish citizen , Rasoul Abdulahnejad , arrested in Piranshahr

Hengaw : A Kurdish citizen from Piranshahr district of West Azerbaijan (Urmia) province has been  arrested by Iranian security forces and taken to an unknown location.

According to a report received by Hengaw  Human Rights Organization, on Monday, April 26, 2021,  Iranian security forces in Piranshahr arrested a Kurdish citizen identified as "Rasoul Abdullahnejad" and transferred him to an unknown location.

According to an informed source, security forces arrested the Kurdish citizen in his native village of "Gorgul Sofla" without providing any judicial documents .

As of preparation of this report , the reason for the arrest and the charges against Rasoul Abdullahnejad, as well as his whereabouts, are unknown.
