4 Kurdish citizens from Nayr village who were arrested are still in custody

Hengaw: More than one month after the arrest of 4 Kurdish citizens from the village of "Nayr" in Sanandaj, they still remain in custody .

According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, more than a month after the arrest of 4 citizens from the village of Nayr, named Payam Manbari, Saryad Manbari, Kaveh Manbari and Sherko Manbari, they are still being held in the Iranian Intelligence Detention Center in Sanandaj.

According to an informed source, these 4 citizens each had short phone callswith their families and were denied access to to a lawyer.

The source further stated that thede citizens from Nayr village have been arrested in connection with the Nowruz celebrations in their village.

Kaveh Manbari and Sherko Manbari were arrested on Wednesday, April 28, in the village of Nayr, and Payam Manbari and Saryad Manbari were arrested on Saturday, May 1, in Sanandaj by the Iranian intelligence service.
