Detention of a citizen in Mahabad

Hengaw: A citizen from Mahabad was arrested by security forces and taken to an unknown location.

According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Sunday, August 1, 2021, security forces in the village of "Agriqash" in Mahabad arrested a young man identified as "Heiman Qaradaghi".

According to the same source, security forces arrested and beat him inside his shop without providing a warrant.

At the time of the present report, the reason for the detention of Himan Gharadaghi and the charges against him is unknown.
