Imposing a sentence of 6 years imprisonment for two citizens from Oshnavyeh
Hengaw: Two citizens from Oshnavyeh (Shno) who were detained by security forces last summer were sentenced toof Iran.
Hengaw: Two citizens from Oshnavyeh (Shno) who were detained by security forces last summer were sentenced to imprisonment by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to a report received by Hengaw, in recent days, two citizens from Oshnavyeh, Heidar Alizadeh and Shirzad Mamandi, have been sentenced to 4 years and 2 years in prison, respectively, by Branch 101 of the Criminal Court of this city.
This sentence was issued by Judge Abu Talib Jalilpour on charges of "cooperation and membership in the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran."
Shirzad Mamandi from "Nazriveh" village and Heidar Alizadeh from "Qazanabad" village were arrested by the intelligence service in Oshnavyeh on Sunday, August 29, 2021, and transferred to the detention center of this security institution in Urmia. They were temporarily released on bail from detention after one month.
It is worth mentioning that these two citizens were deprived of having the right to access a lawyer and family visits during their detention, and security forces had searched their houses during their detention.
