A tradesman from "Darwa Kotr" village in the city of Sangsar in Sulaimaniyah province, identified as Keyvan Qandil, 30, was killed by direct fire from Revolutionary Guards forces on the evening of Saturday, May 28, 2022.
According to an informed source, Keyvan Qandil, a tradesman, who was merchandising livestock, had gone to the Piranshahr border to buy livestock and was shot dead by Revolutionary Guards forces.
The source further stated that Keyvan was shot from a close range by Revolutionary Guards forces without any prior warning.
As of this writing, the tradesman's body is kept by the Revolutionary Guards and has not been returned to his family.
